Rosen Powers Tribe past Sens 11-1

Bob Lemon tossed a complete game and Al Rosen jacked one out of the ballyard and had 4 RBI as the Cleveland Indians destroyed the Washington Senators by a score of 11 to 1 at Griffith Stadium. The Washington fans didn't appreciate the big day Rosen had. He lost the ball over the fence for three runs (his 12th of the season) in the 1st inning and stroked a one-base hit plating a run in the 6th inning. Cleveland had 13 hits for the night. Lemon(7-4) was the winner allowing 1 run for the game. Bob Kuzava(3-4) suffered the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 11 hits and 7 walks in 7 innings.
