Ray Boone jacked one out of the ballyard and had 5 RBI as the Cleveland Indians topped the Boston Red Sox by a score of 11 to 3 at Fenway Park. He hit a single bringing in two baserunners in the 8th inning and smacked a three-run homer (his 3rd of the season) in the 9th inning. Both teams totaled 10 hits on the night. Bob Feller(4-4) went 8 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Joe Dobson(6-3) took the loss. The Cleveland ballclub's record now stands at 22-16. Boston has a record of 29-14 after the loss.
