Early Wynn pitched a complete game and Larry Doby went yard and had 3 RBI at
Municipal Stadium where the Cleveland Indians beat the Philadelphia Athletics
by the score of 7 to 5.
 
Wynn(3-1) pitched a solid game.  He went 9 innings surrendering 9 hits and 5
walks.  Philadelphia had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up
short.  
 
The loss was charged to Alex Kellner(1-4).  He allowed 8 hits and 3 walks in 7
innings.
